All At Once

I love listening to old songs and being transported to another time and place deep in your memory. One such moment happened this morning as I listened to The Fray while getting ready for school. I was instantly back in San Fransisco, sophomore year of high school on Bel Cantos tour. This possibly was one of the funniest weeks of my life. Let me share some of the wild and crazy moments that ensued on this exhilarating adventure.
  • Tiffani Shenton and I short-circuiting half of our hotel while blow-drying our pants that got wet because we jumped in the ocean against Mr. Dresen's advice!
  • Eating some of the best crepes in the cutest crepe house ever!
  • Sleep talking with Tiffani every night to the annoyance of our roomies.
  • So one time, our stranger neighbor's wouldn't stop prank calling us. Finally, I heard a knock on the door. Sure that it was these stupid boys, I stomped up to the door to lay down the law when Shari Pymm and Sasha Scott fell in on me in a fit of hysterics. As if this scenario wasn't strange enough, I then saw a fat, hairy body in a little black speedo and ski mask flee down the hall. Apparently the villain in question had approached the two girls while they were filling their ice buckets. They tried to run but the melted ice on the floor caused them to slip and slide. Finally they were able to run to our room, but were pursued by this mentally unstable fat boy. I cried buckets of laughter!!!
  • There were some awkward homosexual moments which I will not go into detail.
  • Panties hanging in the third story windows of Chinatown.
  • Singles ward in San Francisco is creepy...
  • Weird clown show in French which involved a giant spider crushing one of the clowns, spider web being spread over the whole audience, and ten foot giant beach balls being bounced across the whole audience. Crazy!
  • Dodging sea gull poop on the boat ride to Alcatraz.
  • Beggar drag queen in the ladies restroom. Scarred for life I think.
  • Ashley Carlyle clogging the toilet.
  • The best of the whole trip was singing in amazing concert halls and cathedrals, hanging out with my favorite people, and being involved in my favorite thing in the whole world, choir.

XOXO

P.S. This is one of my favorite days ever because the first of the month is a Monday! Happy March 1st!
