a few weekends ago i decided to do some spring cleaning of my apartment. outside on the grass i discovered an old christmas tree, a broken chair, and a rotting ottoman once the snow had melted. so naturally i wanted to have a bonfire. we somehow managed to fit (and i mean that very loosely) them all into tommy (the altima). we took all of the goods to utah lake and had quite the adventure. we met a navajo who was doing some midnight fishing. we found a huge carp that was still breathing on the shore. and we roasted fancy spinach and feta cheese sausages.
speaking of the fish, i will be scarred for life. jason brought some fireworks to make our night even more exciting. however, as he lit the first fountain, it tipped over and shot directly at the fish, which freaked out! it was sooo sad. needless to say, i make jason go and kill him afterwards and if i ever find the fisherman who just tossed it on the shore without killing it first, well, we will have words.
it was definitely a night to never be forgotten. let summer adventures begin!!
