friday night i conducted in my first choir concert. i thought it was the first time ever, but my mom reminded me that i did conduct my high school's women's chorus when i was a senior. how could i forget?!
it was so exciting to be the conductor and not the singer. honestly, i was way more nervous about accompanying the songs i wasn't conducting then to do the actual conducting myself.
i seriously love teaching music. and i love my students. they have so much energy and life and i love being surrounded my their enthusiasm.
i am so grateful for the opportunity to work with them as well as my mentor teacher. she is so inspiring.
