as a gift to myself for finishing my 8 crazy credits in one spring term, i planned a trip to l.a. with some of my co-workers. it was so perfect and fun and exactly what i needed. we spent friday exploring hollywood. of course i had to find audrey's star.
i've always been skeptical of the southern classic chicken and waffles combo, but after eating at the famous roscoe's i am converted! the best fried chicken i have ever had. so good!
we spent saturday playing at the beach and hanging around the pier. saturday night we went to a bonfire on the beach and burnt 60 dried out christmas trees! it was huge and so fun!
california was the perfect cure for my school slums. the sunshine was perfect. the people i went with were hilarious. i have never laughed so much.
if you are feeling sad, maybe you should go to california too...
